Facade and Design
It is not hard to spot Yello Hotel at all. As its name suggests, it uses the Yellow color on its exterior and in the interior as well.
The hotel is a tall building with around 7-8 levels and has an interesting industrial design. During the opening program, the Architect and designer spoke a little bit about the building’s design inspiration.

They went for a more industrial look so as to fit in, but also stand out in a good way, within their urban surroundings. By the way, the term “Yello Hotel” is an amalgamation of the words “yellow” and “hello”.
Basically, they want to project a bright and welcoming atmosphere for their guests and this principle has definitely guided the building’s design all throughout.
Yello Hotel Rooms
This newly opened hotel in Cebu City offers 193 modern, industrial-designed rooms.
Options include Deluxe Single, Superior Twin, Deluxe Twin, and Executive rooms.

The Deluxe Single is, of course, for one guest. The Superior Twin rooms offer twin beds and are good for two people. The Deluxe Twin rooms, meanwhile, also offer twin beds and are for two guests. But they provide a bigger space at 22sqm compared to the Superior Twin rooms’ 18sqm.
If you have more people in your party, booking an Executive Room is ideal because it has a capacity of 4 people. It’s great for families or for two sets of couples.

High-Tech and Smart Facilities and Mobile App
Yello Hotel brands itself as the only smart and design hotel in Cebu. As such, they have this cute robot that will welcome you the moment you enter the lobby. You can talk to it and ask it for information about the hotel and its surroundings.

Of course, their concierge are staffed with humans who are ready to help and make sure your booking goes smoothly.
To further facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out process and to ensure that you make the most of your stay, Yello Hotel also has a mobile app that you can download.
You can then use the app as a mobile guest key, to check and avail of the hotel’s services, and also for pre-arrival check-in. Convenient, right?
Yello Hotel Facilities
Yello Hotel rises to the challenge of providing modern and comfortable accommodation and amenities for guests – holidaymakers and business travelers alike. Aside from the well-designed rooms, they also have the following facilities:
- Business Center
- Smart Meeting Room
- Fujinoya Cafe
- 2 Function Rooms
- Jacuzzi Pool Bar
- Amarillo Restaurant
- Hi-Speed Elevators
- Safety and Deposit Box at the reception

Internet Connection
Free Wi-Fi is provided to all guests, in-room and in other parts of the hotel.
When I was there, the Internet connection was fast and I had no problems with it.
Mechanized Parking
We all know how limited parking space can be in the city. Fortunately, Yello Hotel still provides ample parking. They have a mechanized parking system as well, which allows them to stack two cars on top of each other – a clever way to maximize space.
I was really excited to see that. It’s not often that you get to see such smart and high-tech parking garages in Cebu. About time an establishment leads the charge and may others adapt!
Yello Hotel Review – Personal Thoughts

I was only there to attend the launch and soft opening program, so I wasn’t able to stay overnight. That is why I cannot comment much on how staying there is truly like.
But they did give us a room tour and from what I have seen, the rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed. I like industrial and minimalistic interiors, so the rooms were pleasing to me.
I also like the fact that they have embraced technology. Modern accommodations have always been my preference and I would definitely love to stay here.
The internet was great too, which is important to me as a freelancer and digital nomad.
As a whole, I believe I would enjoy staying in Yello Hotel. I actually have a booking scheduled after March so I am looking forward to staying there!
